Vitamin D

Doctors say that the optimum level of Vitamin D3 in the blood should be between 70 and 100 ng/ml of blood.

Almost no one in America is even close to this.  People get sick in winter especially, due to lack of D.  I mentioned this at a seminar in New Hampshire, and a gentleman said, “My doctor tested my D levels.  They were so low he gave me 50,000 iu (international units) of D to take twice weekly for several months.

My wife and I took 10,000 iu for 6 months; she had her level checked, and it was only 39 ng/ml.  I took 10,000 iu for 6 more months and then had mine tested.  It was only 30.7.  This is very low.  Most people in the USA are below 10 ng/ml.

A recent blood test was done on eight lifeguards in San Diego, people who live and work in the sunlight.  Only one had 72; the rest were far below that.

I am now taking 22,000 iu daily to see if I can get up above 70 ng/ml.  I recommend to everyone to take at least 5,000 (if not 10,000) iu daily for six months and then have your blood level tested.  From that you can see what you need to do.

Doctors used to say that over 400 iu was dangerous.  They were very wrong.

What does Vitamin D do for you?  It acts as a hormone more than a vitamin.  It saturates your tissues.  It is powerfully anti-cancer especially in the colon, breast and prostate, but also throughout the body.

May God bless your health.
